Treading along a path of healing
Within an aura of rejuvenation

Petal, petal in the wind
Through the air it does descend

The Perfect Present"The Perfect Present"

During the winter season on a night very cold
Where the frosty breeze sends shivers down your spine
I met a little boy on the road decades ago
Who looked at the time to be about eight or nine.

I saw him aimlessly wandering from afar
Dodging cars who simply passed him by.
Judging by his ripped clothes he had many scars
And a pair of the most pained blue eyes

Now normally I would have just continued driving.
Who the hell cares about this little ploy?
Its tough enough in this world surviving
Without striving to care about some little boy.

For I asked myself if I was in his shoes
Would he bother to stop his

Christmas ExpectationsThe fire's still glowing as I carry my plate, laden with cookies – none of which I ate!
They're all made for Santa because he's coming tonight, sleigh bells a-ringin' led by Rudolph's light.
He'll slip down the chimney, quiet as a mouse, and tiptoe so carefully through our small house.
With a gentle "Ho-Ho-Ho" he'll creep to our tree, and leave a gift, especially for me!
I've been really good, say my Mum and Dad, and Santa rewards those who haven't been bad,
I made sure to leave a carrot for each single reindeer, so maybe Santa will bring something special this year!

MuseShe twisted like vines
in a forest of darkness
while the moon shone
and the shadows danced.

Her color was crimson
and white virgin snow.
Where the two entwined,
I kissed the invisible seam.

The ravens were her hair,
sculpted from the night;
and the ocean her eyes
into which I could flee.

She fell through lines
and tumbled with ink.
She stained the winter black
while the sky shone white.

Nameless she wandered
across celestial seas,
and silent she sang
to the souls in mourning.

People are amazing things,
They don't have fins or even wings.
But what makes them amazing is that each one is unique,
And even though good looks are what some seek,
I go by the person, not whether they are chic.
Every person is different and has a personality,
That comes with their own special mentality.
Whether they are short or tall,
To-die-for handsome or ugly as a wall,
Just remember this one life technique;
Every person is unique.
